Okay so this guy calls me up at around 8:30pm inviting me to an interview for some multinational company. The guy was talking really fast. He actually sounded pretty credible. He knew stuff about me like my full name, my school, my course etc. He asked if i had extra curricular activities and stuff. He was saying something like a part time job which requires like 6-8 hours of my time in a week. He said something about not having to commit right away or something and I can earn money from it and stuff. He also said that they only pick like 2-3 students from my my school for the job so okay i was pretty flattered. He asked me if i was interested and i actually said yes (?!) He told me to go to the 15th floor octagon building san miguel avenue in ortigas this friday at 3:30pm and to come in business attire. He was complimenting me and stuff that I sounded professional and so he expects me to show up to the scheduled interview and stuff. Before ending the call, he told me not to tell anyone about it especially my classmates cos they might get jealous or sumthing that they dint get picked or whatever. So when the conversation ended, i talked to my roommate about it. She said her sister got the same call like about a month ago with similar details and same place of interview. But the thing is, her sister dint go cos she was too busy with school and stuff. Anyway, so after the whole conversation, i was trying to recall all the stuff that he said. I then realized that i dont even know the name of the company or where he got my number or what his name was! I was thinking that maybe i just forgot all the details cos he was talking so fast but the thing is, i clearly remember that he dint even mention any of those stuff. So i texted him asking who referred me to him and what the name of the company is. I got a call from the guy right away and his voice still sounded all jittery and stuff. He said the name of the company is NSE consumer US blah blah "something like Unilever and Proctor&Gamble" and he got my number from some org in Ateneo which gives names of recommended students for jobs like these to companies and stuff. Okay so i was flattered again so i dint question him anymore haha he aslo said he cant give the specific name of the person for some security reasons or sumthing like that. I was about to ask for his name but sumthing stopped me well part of it was because it would sound kinda rude and it would be unprofessional of me haha anyway so things like me being kidnapped or ambushed or assassinated and stuff were going through my head already but at the same time i was thiking that this might be a great opportunity or sumthing. i just kinda found it weird that he would call me on my cellphone at night for a job interview thats scheduled 3 days after the call. i mean talk about formality guys, dafuck. but can i just say that the guy sounded really beliveable and to think he knew stuff about me so its not like a random thing i guess? anyway so i was giving my roommate the details of where i was going just in case she doesnt hear from me days after the interview haha i went online to search for the NSE consumer bla blah thing but dint find anything . so i googled '15th floor octagon building' and all sorts of blogs came out. i got goosebumps after reading them. dammmmnn yooo XXX na to! dont be fooled!

Okay so i havent written anything in my lj since school ended last March. For some reason, I just couldnt think of anything to write about or i dunno maybe i just got tired of it. Well now that there's so much stuff going on especially for this week, I think it's kinda worth blogging about or i dunno maybe im just bored. Anyway...
I recently joined Ateneo's IAC thing. Relax, it doesnt involve me being in some org and being "active", dont worry (P.S. i hate orgs) haha anyway, IAC is like an intrams thing. Anyone can join (anyone from Ateneo, that is). My ex-highschool Zobel teammates (Pam Bravo, El Avellana, and AbyG) made a team for futsal so yea, they included me. So hooray for that. Games are in the evening so yun wala lang. Watch. Solid yun.
We're finally getting net in the condo, thank god (hindi na nakaw haha). But the thing is, the installer guy was supposed to come yesterday but he didnt so i sent a super bitchy message to the Smart Bro guy in Alabang who gave me his number for contact or something. Lines like "be more professional", "I waited for nothing", "so when should I again expect you to come??" were sent to this moron c/o Gold Jacinto. Thank you, bow.
I just love my Com100 class. Champion dude. My teacher is the best he's so funny and banat sa energy haha. I just love teachers who'r like that. Anyway, my teacher left for Australia a few days ago and he'll be back 2 weeks from now i think so anyway before he left, he gave us a project. We were asked to do an interview on a professional who's in the field which we plan to pursue someday or like somewhere along that line of work or something like that. So since im planning to pursue a career in Prod, the first person that i thought of interviewing was Carlo's dad, Freddie Garcia (cos he was only like the frickin president of abs-cbn before) anyway so before asking my brother to ask Carlo's dad if i could interview him, I remembered that Mark Meily (the director of Crying Ladies) gave a talk in Zobel before during career day so i was thinking maybe Ms. J still has Mark Meily's number and stuff. But even before i got to ask Ms. J for Mark Meily's number, Gabby Medina mentioned out of the blue that he has his number! Champion ka Gab! So there, I will be interviewing the Mark Meily on Saturday. A soon-to-be highlight of my life. (But Joyce Bernal is still my number one favorite!)
My blockmates and I are gonna watch this musical in Ateneo called "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" (Google it!!) next saturday!! They say it's funny and there's audience participation and stuff. Kinda reminded me of our S.P.I.T days in Magnet with my ex-Katip buds. I'm super excited for it! Solid!
Sophomore year equals NSTP year. The worst dude. I've been trying to get myself out of it but it seems like the only way for me to be exempt from nstp is if i join the team. Well if ever, im also gonna get exempt from my PE, yoga haha. If ever i do decide to join the team, i'll surely miss yoga especially my favorite pose: the dead man's pose. The pose where we all lie down on our backs and act like we're dead for 15mins++. San ka pa.
And last but not the least, my sister gave birth to the first ever apo in the Jacinto side a few hours ago. My other sister and I were texting each other while i was in class: "Labor na siya!" , "C-section daw gagawin!", "Lumabas na! Kulot!", "8.3 lbs yung baby! Ang laki niya! Super kamukha ni Ate Lal! Sumo wrestler dapat costume niya sa Halloween!" Too bad i've to be stuck in this hell hole while history is happening back in Alabang. Welcome to the world, Hailey! (Yes, it's a girl.... Girl Sumo wrestler.)

Solid! I borrowed this Neil Gaiman book from Tim last year and it actually took me a while before I finished reading but anyway, just a few days ago, I saw the trailer on TV! I think it's coming out in July. Hooray :|
Thank God I'm done with school. The HEAT is just unbearable in Ateneo especially now that it's already summer. Exagge. It's literally like Swimming in Saltwater except that the salty water is not the sea, it's your sweat. Yehey. Good luck to me during Summer class.

I barely had any classes this week but for some reason i just had to be stuck in Katipunan. Thank God that this is the last day of my ever so dreadful HELL WEEK. I just hate it when teachers pile up all the papers on the week before the finals. I actually think that they\re doing it on purpose just so they could live up to the "hellness" of the infamous Hell Week. Hay conio.
Lately I've been having difficulty sleeping. I'm guessing it's because of all the thoughts that I think about before I go to sleep, really random stuff. Daydreaming at night vibe. My daydreaming usually lasts about an hour or two or until my brain gets tired of thinking or until I run out of things to think about. It's pretty tiring and to think that I'm just lying down with my eyes closed. Sayad.
For the past few months, I've really been thinking about getting a tat and coincidentally some of my friends have been thinking the same thing. Twist! Juanch, Mandz, Cbel, Yannick, Jeanne, Zobats and I were all planning to get it at the same time. Haha a field trip to the tattoo parlor guys. "I think it's time," according to Mr. Tuason himself. Yes, I think it is! Before the next school year starts, I should already have ink in my body. (Yikes commitment hits) |
